Trustees Meeting Fruitful

Trustees meeting have been described as fruitful according to our sources. Among the topics discussed (according to our sources) were the activities for the next semester. Asked to comment on whether the meeting was fruitful or not, one of the Trustees who asked foe anonymity for fear of reprisals described the meeting as normal and close to fruit....."All our meetings are for the good of the group and i dont know what you mean by being fruitful all i can say is that it was normal" asked to explain what was discussed, the Trustee said that they looked at performances slated for next semester, possible trips with finances permitting, get together partys and welcoming new trustee members among others.

It is not known as to how many Trustees were present at the meeting since most of the Trustees are reportedly out of the campus the likes of Misheck Banda who is in Mashonaland (now a trilionaire in Zim currency) and Lewis Gulula who is officially getting married to Grace Nangalembe in Lilongwe this weekend(30th August)

MUTHE wishes Lewis Gulula and Grace Nangalembe a happy married life always.

MUTHE to Stage Julius Caesar

Mzuzu University TheatreHeights Ensemble might stage one of William Shakespeares' successful plays, Julius Caesar. Shakespeares's work is in the public domain and that makes it open to anyone to use his work with or withou implied or express permission.

If this is done then MUTHE will have two plays in the next semester.

Trustees to Meet

Mzuzu University TheatreHeights Ensemble (MUTHE) trustees will meet soon to prepare for the events of the group in the next semester. High on the agenda will be issues of next production, tours and other business. (the pic shows some of the trustees, Gift, Misheck,Misozi, Paul and Richard)

LOVE OF HONOR MUTHE's next semester production

As always our goal is to provide audiences with the very best talent of all levels. To provide comics with a professional and friendly work environment. To provide a place to nurture developing talent. MUTHE returns with a cultural play, Love of Honor next semester. The play will incorporate new and old members of the group and the cultural dances to be performed by MUTHE cultural Troupe. With a membership of close to 60, MUTHE will be out to prove their worth after a grand launch that featured 'True Lies' as their very first. For those who watched True Lies, can really agree with me that it was indeed a play of the semester. 'Love of Honor' will be MUTHE's second to be premiered in the UNiversity Hall.

MUTHE President elected MUSU Secretary

There is alot happening within Mzuzu University TheatreHeights Ensemble. Barerly a week after awarding Steve Moloseni as best actor, Naomi Banda (The lady at the helm of MUTHE) has been elected new MUSU secretary for the academic year 2008/2009.

True Lies goes to St Johns School of Nursing

True Lies, probably Mzuni's play of the Semester by Mzuzu University TheatreHeights Ensemble (MUTHE) was taken to St Johns Scool of Nusing within the outskirts of Mzuzu City. Though the patronage was low, MUTHE gave its few patrons the best of theatre they had anticipated. The cast that included Edwin Kanyemba, Naomi Nyasulu (pictured), Davie Nyirenda, Steve Moloseni, Mirriam Mkamanga, Limbani Banda, Richard Kayenda, Linda Mpando (who replaced Rabecca Tembo), Auscar Njikho, Naomi Banda, Jean Luhanga and Annie Kachali was just marvellous to watch.

This is MUTHE's second perfomance since her launch on 18th May 2008.
